What is Hard Wired

Hard Wired is a collection of practical, browser-based web tools — converters, encoders, hash generators, image and PDF utilities, and developer helpers. Most tool processing happens entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded to a server unless a tool explicitly requires it.

Mission & Editorial Policy

  • —Free to use, no account walls, no paywalls.
  • —Privacy-first: prefer in-browser processing; if a server is needed it is explicitly noted on the tool page.
  • —Practical and actively maintained — new tools added, existing ones improved based on feedback.
  • —Open feedback loop: bug reports and feature requests welcome via GitHub.
